April 2020 Updates

A message from the Director…

I hope everyone is keeping well and staying healthy at home during this unusual health crisis situation. The teachers and I miss our students greatly and are eager for the day we get to be in the same dance room again, with dance friends and teachers, what a joyful time it will be and what a privilege to have that freedom back!
So for now, as an option to continue to train our dancers in the duration ahead, we have set up Online Dance Classes and have created a

IMG_E5568Youtube channel DancewithBDA for our dance studio to share video links, RAD Exam syllabus and specific workouts. This new plan to get them practicing regularly at home, keeping up technique, and to maintain good physical and mental health.  A general schedule with class links is sent each week, and students can look forward to receiving some instruction at home.

A note on fees – For the next while, Boswell Dance is hoping to be able to support our dancers and families, by providing free online lessons until April 15. We will contact & update everyone with regards to reduced fee rate for the ongoing class sessions for the later weeks, should the situation continue to keep us doing all our learning at home. We hope to have a minimal measure of fee support in order to keep BDA running, with programs and a studio for our dancers to come back to. The crisis of Covid-19 has greatly impacted everyone, it is not our intention to cause any additional worries during this uncertain time especially to those who have lost their jobs, and hope that you know how much we value you, our wonderful dance families, and thank you greatly for your loyalty, love and support. We will do everything we can to help our dancers train, and do our part as we stand strong and get through this together.

Sincerely,
Sharon Boswell
