June 2020 Updates

BDA is committed to the health and safety of its dancers and staff, their families and the community. With the economy starting to re-open gradually, we have been reviewing our options on safe return-to-dance methods under guidance of the Office of the Provincial Health Officer and the BC Centre for Disease Control for information on COVID-19 health and safety resources.

Due to the number of ongoing uncertainties, along with the risk of exposing children and families unnecessarily, we will continue online classes for June, our final month of the season. This will also allow us sufficient time to put a plan together, and to practice safety procedures in preparation for start of a new 2020/2021 season in September.

We will conduct a careful gradual re-opening, starting with our small sets of RAD Ballet exam students for rescheduled examinations, as well as some graduating soloists to complete their final examinations by this July. BDA will also be offering summer tech classes in July & August. Parents & Dancers will be notified on the safety protocols before commencing back-in-studio sessions.

♥ Huge Thanks to all BDA Parents for your continuous effort, support and attendance for both in-person and online classes this year, and we look forward to seeing you and your dancer back soon!
