PHOTO WEEK – CLASS PHOTOS will be held during regular class times from *Thursday, May 25th – Wednesday, May 31st and Sat June 3rd for some classes – due to the Hyack Parade affecting traffic/parking/blocked streets on Saturday 27th, for classes held prior to 2pm, photo day will be postponed to the following Saturday June 3rd instead. This includes Mini Comp Ballet, Mini Comp Tap, Pre-Ballet/T.Tap, Tap 1, Tap 2, Tap 3/4, Pre-Pri, Primary 1 & 2. *Grades 1-5 Ballet classes, pics will be taken on the Weekday Class instead.
Please be punctual, wear costume, tidy hair, very light/no makeup is fine for class photos. Parents are welcome to take photos as well.
Congratulations to all RAD ballet candidates who recently took their examinations earlier this Spring. Results, medals and certificates have arrived and been distributed to all our successful candidates.
We also wish to congratulate all our BDA competitive teams for their best work, great results and many top scoring routines at the various competitions held recently and throughout April. Special thanks to all the competitive parents for their constant support, especially with all the driving required and great backstage help at these events.
We are now in our busiest part of the dance season with various competition days happening throughout May, please note that the competition schedule may affect our usual office hours and teaching staff may be stepping in for one another classes. If our office is closed, please use the office dropbox (black mailbox on wall outside office door) instead for dropping off cheque payments and email us for any other needs. We can also accept E-transfers, email us if you wish to set this up.
Showtime costumes for all our classes have mostly been distributed at this time. Please be sure to label/mark all individual items and accessories belonging to your child to avoid mixups or loss during class picture days or performance days.
Enrollment 2017-18 packages are now being prepared for each individual student and will be distributed to all students by mid-May. Summer programs and forms will also be enclosed in the package. All information for upcoming season will also be accessible for download on our updated website by mid May. All returning students should register by June 15th to ensure placement in classes.
